It is approximately 5,000 acres and is located about a 15 minute drive west of campus. It is available for research conducted by students and faculty of Texas State University.
Living Library
The gardens all around the Agriculture Building constitute the Living Library. The Living Library gardens have been designed and maintained by students, and provide a peaceful and quiet place to study, meet and relax between classes.
The gardens are a collection of many of the plant materials that are included in both the Woody Plants and Herbaceous Plants class.
